Preservation Arts restores San Francisco's Holocaust Memorial

In October 2019, Preservation Arts, working with San Francisco Arts Commission, began a full restoration of George Segal’s Holocaust Memorial located near the Legion of Honor. After 35 years in the harsh elements and weathering several hate attacks that left some of its figures covered with anti-Semitic graffiti, the sculpture needed care. The 11 figures cast in bronze were carefully removed and brought to Preservation Arts for a full restoration. Click to see story in the news!
